BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC Policies

In most cases, I do NOT answer phone calls because:

​1) if I am working on a client, I like to give that client my undivided attention. Many times when I answer a call, I am asked a lot of questions, which I encourage, but it takes my focus away from the person I am working on at the moment, so I'll likely only answer if I'm not working on someone. 
2) unfortunately, the cell service in my building is not that great and so at times I either get disconnected , don't even get the call or the call is not clear.
3) if you are calling after hours, I normally have my children and they seem to think when mommy is on the phone that is the best time to stand in a circle around me and yell at the top of their lungs at each other. Well that's what it sounds like at least.  😊
So I encourage texting me. This also solves the problem I have with memory. If we discuss anything over the phone such as special discounted pricing or any other special need, I may not remember as I have a nice sized clientele and no matter how hard I try, I can't remember everyone's circumstances. Late, Cancellation, and No Show

 At BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC, I strive to be on time and time efficient, all while providing you the best quality service. I ask that you try to be on time to your appointments as well. However, I do understand that problems may occur which can cause you to be delayed. In the event this happens, I ask you to give me a courtesy call or text to inform me. Every client is given a 10 minute grace period. After 10 minutes, if the delay interferes with another scheduled appointment, you will be asked to reschedule. Appointment reminders are automatically sent out 2-3 days in advance from my online appointment book. In  some cases, I will personally text you to confirm. Please respond to this text as it typically means your appointment time is in high demand and if you can not make it, another client can get an opportunity to receive services. Failure to do so may result in your appointment being cancelled to accommodate scheduling needs. Any appointment that is cancelled less than 48hr in advance will result in a $25 cancellation fee and/or deposit being forfeited with the exception of Sisterlocks installs. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, a No Show Fee is collected before services resume at BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC. No Show fees can range from half of your service to the full price of the service. A PayPal invoice can be sent for you to pay either of these fees, which will then release the hold on your appointment scheduling or you can stop by the studio to pay by cash or card. 
To avoid a Cancellation or No Show Fee, please give a 48 hour notice. I also understand circumstances may occur at the last minute that will prevent you from coming to your appointment. It is your job to let me know as soon as possible so that I can work with you in certain situations.

If last minute cancelling or No Shows become a pattern, you may be asked to put down a non- refundable deposit for a future appointment. A worst case scenario will be you are no longer able to receive services at BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC.

BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC wants to provide a pleasant experience for everyone including other salon studio owners in the building. Since space is very limited, I asked that there are no guest or children accompanying you unless absolutely necessary.

BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC will provide the best quality service to you. Therefore, there will be no refunds under any circumstance. If you are dissatisfied with your service, I can offer you are complimentary service worth what you paid but not to exceed $100.00

Check Policy
BBG Natural Hair Studio, LLC does not accept checks as a regular form of payment. However, under certain circumstances, it may be allowed. If a check is returned unpaid, there is a Return Check Fee of $50.00 that is due immediately, along with the amount of the check written. A PayPal invoice can be sent for you to pay or you can stop by the studio to pay in person via cash or card. After 30 days of return check balance and fee going unpaid, the fee is increased to $75.00 and interest of 1% of the daily balance begins to accrue on day 31. Once your balance has reached $300 or more or it has been more than 90 days since the date of the check being returned, further legal action will be taken.
